A SONG FOR THE ASKING

L.A. Detective Daniel Kane rules his family with an volatile blend of misguided love and perfectionism that leaves no room for failure. His children clash with him and each other until they're each touched by violence and realize that they must hold on to each other for survival. Guidall reads this family saga comfortably, but he's clearly is at his best in the edgy voice of the dogmatic Kane. He easily captures the accents and the tones of voice of the characters.
