Branford's little gem mixes technology, aliens, dogs, computers and chickens! The clever story and its characters are splendidly recreated by Prunella Scales (Sybil of "Fawlty Towers"). A baby alien accidentally pokes a hole in the atmosphere and is sent to Earth to correct his goof. Bus driver Tipperary, Hector the dog and a band of international computer whiz kids help Spacebaby make repairs just seconds before gravity totally reverses itself. Scales replicates various animals' voices to sound exactly right. The stereotypical sleazy TV and tabloid journalists are perfect. Scales's amazing delivery makes this fantasy tale seem almost real.
