In this Jacqueline "Jack" Daniels mystery offering, the former kick-ass cop is trussed up and awaiting death by torture by her archenemy, Mr. K, a serial killer who has it in for her. Delivering a series of flashbacks, narrators Angela Dawe and Dick Hill provide well-acted performances and an interesting vocal contrast that adds to the building suspense. Hill has a wide variety of voices at the ready, all of which are convincing and dead-on for the characters portrayed.
