A TALE OF THREE KINGS

Paul Michael offers a theatrical rendition of Gene Edwards’s work. Writing in the early ‘80s in response to the authoritarian movement taking place within Christendom, Edwards creatively retells the biblical accounts of the Old Testament kings Saul, David, and Absalom. In so doing, he offers wise suggestions as to how one might better respond to a tough work or life situation. Paul Michael’s voice sounds older than his actual age; his delivery gives him an air of wisdom as he recounts seemingly firsthand experiences from these lives.
