THE SWEETWATER RUN

Will Cody, a 13-year-old Pony Express rider, overcomes extreme hardships to guarantee that the mail and the election results of 1860 are delivered. Guidall adds a light Western accent to his reading for flavor and fun. He smoothly changes characters' voices as he keeps the excitement at fever pitch. The short, intense story requires concentrated dramatic effort, which Guidall readily provides, ensuring that the action and adventure move rapidly.
