NLP stands for "Neuro-Linguistic Programming." Here the "techniques for success" so popular in the '80's are linked with a bit of the idealism of the '60's, stressing the importance of one's "life's mission." The tapes present a wide array of mental techniques designed to help the listener achieve success by re-programming the mind, replacing inefficient habits of thought with effective imagery.
