FALSE STEP

Patience Tomlinson doesn’t miss a step in her stellar performance of this British charmer, full of twists and interesting characters. Bea Abbot, a 60-something widow who owns Abbot Domestic Agency, is called in when a man is discovered dead in his bed, draped in a garish red gown with his face made up. Is it suicide or something more sinister? Bea, who denies that she investigates murder, does just that and with aplomb, sorting through a host of suspects while also dealing with her own house, full of workmen and her domestically challenged son, who has been "kicked to the curb" by his wife.
