It’s an uplifting message on how to overcome start-up fears, tell a compelling story, be resourceful, keep things simple, and make trust the foundation of everything a company does. He shares interesting details about how low-budget companies operate and shows how an altruistic mission and a colorful story can help an enterprise catch fire with the media and customers. The sincere-sounding author narrates his book with an obvious interest in touching people who have community-oriented business ideas. But his flat performance has many phrasing and enunciation glitches and conveys little of the passion that fueled his inspiring journey.
