THE TRIALS OF NIKKI HILL

A traditional American whodunit features a beautiful African-American prosecutor hunting the murderer of a tabloid TV anchor. This abridgment is thin on character and long on incident. Its chief merit is the superb reading by Lynne Thigpen, host of Public Television's "WHERE IN THE WORLD IS CARMEN SANDIEGO?"
