TWILIGHT

Part-time sleuth and creator of a philanthropic foundation Jenny Cain is summoned by a recently widowed woman to rally support to close a trail where her husband was killed. Agnes Herrmann efficiently narrates this long and complicated thriller. The many female voices are clearly differentiated, and small-town affiliations, friendships and conspiracies are characterized with ease.
