America's Queen of Suspense and Jan Maxwell provide a satisfying listening experience with a surprisingly twisted plot. This murder mystery involves experimental drugs, an unethical HMO and profit-driven doctors. Molly, the doctor's wife who is convicted of murder, is portrayed with a shy, tentative voice. Molly's best friend reveals herself in the final scenes with voice-dripping venom. Fran, an investigative reporter, is depicted with authority and assertiveness in a firm, no-nonsense voice.
