Noam Chomsky--the American linguist, political thinker, and social critic--holds forth in a long, sometimes rambling, conversation in the spring of 2012. In response to occasional open-ended questions, Chomsky offers his view of history and politics, both foreign and domestic. Although Chomsky's deep voice is always easy to understand, he seems weary. Yet his statements remain full of conviction. Disappointingly, the production quality of the audiobook is uneven. Sometimes Barsamian and Chomsky seem to be in Chomsky's office.
