THE WILD ISLAND

When beautiful television star Jemima Shore retreats to a remote Scottish island for a holiday, she becomes embroiled in a family feud going back to the time of Bonnie Prince Charlie. The story has a cast of vivid, eccentric characters in an untamed setting. The reading by actress Patricia Hodge is exceptional. Her British English is very clear and expressive. She does a masterful job of delineating characters by using her great vocal range--all the while keeping the words of the text understandable to American listeners.
