Murder is afoot in the Midsomer Worthy Writers' Circle, and it's up to Chief Inspector Barnaby to solve the crime. WRITTEN IN BLOOD, which is part of a British mystery series, is both a funny satire of wannabe artists and a suspenseful whodunit that leaves listeners guessing until the last chapter. Hugh Ross's pleasant voice captures the sly humor of Caroline Graham's writing and inhabits each of her varied characters perfectly. He also handles the many conversations with ease.
