Dan Gordon, a Hollywood screen-writer, wrote and novelized the script for Kasdan's film Wyatt Earp. He also wrote this audio adaptation, which follows the film, chronicling such well-known events as the shoot-out at the O.K. Corral. It also features some original characters and sequences. The stories are presented individually but are linked chronologically. Gordon isn't much of an actor; his reading is a study of steadily paced monotone. However, he does have a facility with accents, and his portrayal of Doc Holliday is a high point. D.A.W. ©AudioFile, Portland, Maine [Published: SEPT 95]
