GRIN AND BEAR IT

When Bear is introduced on Woodland Stage one Saturday night, his dream comes true. He’s always wanted a chance to tell his jokes, such as “What is a bear’s favorite baseball team?” and “What is the proper way to hold a bat?” Alas, when stage fright takes its toll and things don’t go as planned, it takes a loving hummingbird to help Bear realize his potential. L.J. Ganser brings Landry’s beginning chapter book to life delightfully. His Bear speaks with a deep and rich voice; his hummingbird has punch and verve and the speed of this species.
