IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE

The story is a touching memoir of a nurse who becomes a cattle rancher's wife living in the most desolate part of Australia. Her accent and vocabulary add charm to a tale of love, devotion, sorrow, and achievement. The tearful emotion of her voice cannot conceal the sadness still felt as she relates the death of her first-born infant son. The words are clear, brisk, and catching as she brings us into a world of endless work motivated by a pioneer spirit.
