Quick-on-the-draw loner Deke Sheridan knew beautiful Boston-bred Laura Cheney was trouble when she marched into a saloon and threatened him with a gun if he didn't help her find her kidnapped newborn. Nicole Poole gives a heartfelt and enjoyable performance of this engaging story. She easily transitions between Laura's formal speech to Deke's twangy, less-educated voice. Poole also convincingly portrays various members of Deke's adopted Cheyenne family, the Comanchero bad guys, and Laura's arrogant father.
