Seasoned pros created the Dickens and Lucasfilm titles. These two adventures of Radio Rep's daffy, fussbudget detectives bespeak less skill but far more imagination. If you can forgive uneven acting, occasional stridency and spots of gracelessness, the tape will reward you with mischievous humor--as if characters from old Denny's commercials lived where Chuck Jones was mayor and the Firesign Theater ran the city council.
