THE SOUND AND THE FURRY

Narrator Jim Frangione is once again perfect as Chet in this sixth installment of the Chet and Bernie mystery series. Fans know that Chet is the canine half of the Little Detective Agency, with the story being told from his unique and hilarious point of view. This time, Chet and his human partner, Bernie, take a missing person's case in Louisiana, a very different setting from their home in Arizona. Listeners will laugh as Frangione relays Chet's experiences with rain, boats, and water--and gasp as he faces a ferocious alligator, among other adventures. Frangione doesn't attempt any Louisiana accents. However, his comedic timing and authentic performance of Chet's voice is, as Chet himself would say, "tip-top"!
