Not really macho hunting and fishing tales, selections like "A Boy's First Turkey," "A Christmas Gift," "Never Trust a Moose," and "The Great Jonesboro Pigeon Shoot" are timeless, heartwarming stories of relationships and times gone by. The readers are expert, adding dimensions of drama, gentleness, and folksiness. The sound effects of wind, shooting, and animals snorting, plus the wonderfully appropriate musical segments, help enhance the listening experience.
