THE SWEET SPOT

The voices of Amanda, a successful restaurant owner, and Chase, a sexy baseball player, aren't always discernable from each other during their bantering. But Katie Schorr's crisp diction, varied intonations, and timing bring across the flirtatiousness of their verbal sparring, which often turns into naughty physical playfulness as the characters become romantically involved. Though the plot is somewhat meandering, Schorr's flowing, effectively modulated narration highlights the sexy and dramatic moments, keeping the listening experience lively and engaging.
