Flying enthusiasts and general readers who can enjoy a slow passage across the country will savor this narrative. The voyage is an individualistic one nicely conveyed through Michael Pritchard’s narration. The commentary and reflections are delivered with low-key style which suits the observational nature of the text. Pritchard nicely celebrates Coonts’s passion for flying and the land he flies over.
