As we head to the next presidential election and Hillary Clinton’s possible entry as a candidate, this audiobook reminds us that these two powerful Democratic families just can’t seem to get along. The author’s inside sources and sharp writing make this book the pick of the Clinton-Obama tomes, and all Americans would benefit from a listen. Narrator Lars Mikaelson has just the right voice for this work. He’s clear, resonant and pliant, and he also employs snide vocal winks when the text calls for them. Mikaelson keeps the story moving, and as the book progresses, he gains strength without becoming breathless or partisan, despite the author’s obvious intention to play to our emotions.
