These tales are perfect for audio--entertaining and suspenseful. The tone and style of these mysteries, which hearken back to the golden age of radio, are enhanced by original music and excellent sound effects. The weak part of this presen-tation, however, is the narration. The actors' characterizations, voices and styles range from very professional to embarrassingly amateurish.
