TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT: STORIES OF THE FATHER AND SON

This collection of stories focuses on two emotion-fraught relationships. In "The Father, Son and the Holy Obit," narrator Adam Grupper affects a tone of anxiety and barely restrained anger as the story explores the dramatic relationship between a cruel father and a secret that shines a new light on his mysterious past. The listener must decide if the new information changes the way the son sees the father. In "The Underdog," narrated by Rick Adamson, a son married to a well-to-do wife must deal with a needy father in search of "just one more loan."
