CRY OF THE CHILDREN

In Gregson's mystery, each character is interesting and, even more importantly, believable and sympathetic. Narrator Andrew Wincott enhances the story with his sensitive presentation. Seven-year-old Lucy Gibson goes missing when she visits a fair with her mother's new boyfriend, Matt Boyd. Lucy sounds engagingly true to life, and listeners will feel great concern for her well-being. Five troubled people make up the list of suspects whom Detective Inspector Lambert and Detective Sergeant Hook must investigate in order to find the perpetrator.
