BETTY BUNNY DIDN'T DO IT

Narrator Katherine Kellgren sounds like a stern British nanny--when she tells you to turn the page, you listen! But her tone transforms when she portrays a cast of characters that includes the impetuous Betty Bunny, along with Betty's knowing older siblings, who offer Betty advice, and her sometimes vexed parents, who instruct Betty on the nuances of truth telling. Lying, Betty learns, is "worst of all" because it undermines credibility. However, her dad explains, hurting people's feelings with the truth also should be avoided. This little story offers young listeners lots to think about AND listen to. Sound effects, including breaking glass and the wail of a siren, will entertain children as they sort out the nature of truth and consequences along with mischievous Betty Bunny.
