Brandon Carlyle, actor, ex-con, and charismatic bad boy retreats to his boyhood home in Ticky Creek, Texas, only to encounter Alyson James, a persistent reporter who wants to ghostwrite a "tell all" autobiography. But Carlyle is hiding from his adoring public and from the stalker whose letters follow him everywhere. Alyssa Bresnahan narrates this tale in soft tones, relating Carlyle's past, thoughts, and motives.
