DEAD WRONG

by | Read by Edward Holland

Mystery & Suspense • 12 hrs. • Unabridged • © 1993

Father Robert Koesler, Detroit's crime-solving cleric, is drawn into a thirty-year-old murder involving his own family. At first trying to save the soul of his errant cousin, Koesler stumbles upon a complicated web of deceit with implications affecting the future of not only his family, but the church itself. Edward Holland's understated performance captures Koesler's clerical restraint, while not detracting from the excitability of the other characters in the story or the rapid development of the plot itself. While you wish at first that he'd just get on with it, you're soon caught up in the story's tangle of secrets, lies, and love. While the whodunit isn't that hard to figure out, the story is no less enjoyable for it, and the book's epilogue offers a stunning and totally unforeseen conclusion. R.P.L.
