Commuters, beware! You could well miss your exit as you get caught up in this action-packed, suspense-filled novel about a foiled kidnapping attempt on the president's daughter. The central characters are two sisters--one a psychiatrist, the other a psychic--who are trying to treat the president's traumatized child. To enjoy this complex story, rife with subplots and international settings, you must suspend disbelief and accept that people can link minds and even have visions of the future. Reader Christine McMurdo-Wallis creates characters who are appealing and caring, and also projects the unmitigated evil of her villains. As her voice heightens the tension and one's sense of foreboding, she controls the listener's emotions most expertly. Excitement and a love interest, this program has it all. D.L.G.
