The novella that became the hit Kevin Spacey/ Jeff Bridges film is a humorous and charming fantasy about a psychotic. The narrator recounts his sessions with the likable lunatic who claims to come from a distant planet and who has a miraculously positive influence on the other patients. Who is he? Where did he come from? Performer Casaletto handles the narrative as if it were a documentary--or more accurately (and appropriately), as if he were a somewhat emotionally constrained clinician recounting a real case.
