ONE STEP AHEAD

It’s hard to overstate how confusing and disorganized this program is to hear. A topic as broad and complex as success needs to pull the ideas together into something that leaves a coherent impression in the mind. And if celebrity stories are used, their examples need to support ideas, rather than just popping up randomly with no apparent relation to the points being made. The program’s final segment contains a history of the writer’s family and a rambling statement of appreciation for all the opportunities we have in this country.
