Carol Monda continues her narration of the Sharpe & Donovan series. Mysteries unfold on both sides of the Atlantic, pulling in the FBI, the Donovan brothers, and English aristocrat Oliver York. Monda's deep voice and measured pace reminds the listener that while there are hints of romance and complex backstories, this book is focused on mystery and suspense. Monda provides a variety of accents--from an Irish accent for a priest and the cultured tones of an English aristocrat to the harder voices of the FBI agents; the lighter, smoother tones of Emma Sharpe; and the Southern drawl of Nashville native Naomi McBride.
