AFRICANS IN AMERICA: America's Journey through Slavery

Iona Morris presents the lives of African-Americans from 1600 to 1865. Her narration is generally good, although at times it seems overly dramatic. Morris is at her best when she brings to life the African-Americans quoted in this work. Her vocal characterizations are simply tremendous. If this were just narration, it would be good information about history that has been overlooked.
