TINCUP IN THE STORM COUNTRY

Aficionados of Lewis B. Patten will be thrilled with the unabridged recording of his 1935 novelette, considered too controversial in its day. Set in the northwest corner of Colorado, the story of star-crossed lovers torn apart by a territorial feud generations deep is read with vigor and panache by Rob McQuay. Although McQuay's voice is unmistakably American and he possesses a wide repertoire of voices for villains and villainesses, heroes and heroines, he is often overly dramatic and forced.
