Many know the band Blood, Sweat & Tears, but few know the name of the man who co-founded the group. Guitarist Steve Katz is out to change that. Dan Triandiflou narrates Katz's memoir about life in the rock world in an acceptable fashion, though he rushes through the work. Ignoring punctuation, he jumps from one thought to another without a pause. But the story is so powerful that the speed can be forgiven as Triandiflou recounts Katz's dislike for rockers Al Kooper and Lou Reed and outright hatred for BS&T lead singer David Clayton Thomas. Triandiflou also talks about Katz's previous bands, the amazing Blues Project and the fun Even Dozen Jug Band. This is a shocking work about the sometimes seedy backstage world of rock music.
