MENDING YOUR HEART IN A BROKEN WORLD

It would be a shame if the title's depressing tone and biblical reference narrow the range of listeners attracted to this program. It's a balanced inspirational program that creeps up on you with its optimism and essential wisdom about getting through life. Though it's never explicit, the message throughout is that negative moods and reactions to life's disappointments are okay. Support can be found if you seek it, and not just from one's Christian faith. Stories from the Bible are there, but there are also sketches of historical figures, mainly people who used commitment to various causes to overcome personal losses.
