Calm conviction, thoughtful expression, and sincere emotion aptly describe Fred Sanders's narration of this work. As such, it fits squarely with Grant's message that a true original (in the workplace or the world) is not some rarified individual or whiz-bang wunderkind or even the loudest person in the room. An original is potentially anyone in the room. Everyone has the capacity for originality, once the concept of "originality" is clearly understood. Grant's theories are refreshingly grounded, logical, and actionable; Sanders reinforces them with his unaffected yet engaging delivery. Skip the belabored reading of Sandberg's foreword and head straight to the substance--of which there is plenty for the rank and file, executives, members of minorities, parents, and political/social activists.
