FIREFLY BEACH

As a young child, Caroline Renwick watched as her friend Joe's father took his life in her family's kitchen. Now an inn proprietor, she is haunted her own family problems and the disintegration of the close friendship she and Joe enjoyed as teenagers. When Joe comes to dive a wreck near her inn, they must face their pasts and try to craft a future. Alexandra O'Karma's narration accurately conveys both self-involved characters and those more emotionally present.
