LOOK TO THE WOLVES

Lt. Commander Bob Cowan of the Royal Navy seeks two British nurses trapped behind Russian lines in 1919. He thinks it will be easy to find two needles in a haystack. Off he travels, unprepared for his journey into the wintry wilderness with the help of fellow countrymen and White Russians. Peter Wickham tells the tale in softly accented British and Russian accents, ably twisting his tongue around each Cyrillic syllable. Tense military encounters are played out in chillingly detailed descriptions. When he finds the nurses, he finds his adventures have just begun.
