MISS JULIA THROWS A WEDDING

Miss Julia Springer's motto is "if you want things done right, you have to get yourself organized." The everyday events of life reach a high pitch when she volunteers to host the wedding of Binky, already five months pregnant, and her live-in boyfriend. While both confrontational and sometimes comical, Miss Julia can be a force to reckon with when she thinks harm may come to her friends, or when she does battle with Emma Sue, the preacher's wife. Karen White's rhythmic, perfectly precise voice quickly settles into a comfortable Southern drawl.
