ORDINARY LIFE

This collection of short stories is more suited to print than audio, as the print format would allow the reader to seek out and enjoy the better pieces. While some stories, like "Ordinary Life" and "The Matchmaker" are engaging, the others are too rough and light to be interesting. Laura Hicks creates distinguishable voices for the female characters, although her male characters could use more definition in attitude or accent.
