THREE FATES

Over a thousand people perished when the LUSITANIA was sunk. One passenger survived and gave up his life as a thief, keeping a figurine he removed from the ship as an emblem of his changed life. Over a century later that heirloom, a silver statue of one of the three fates, has been stolen from his family, the Sullivans, who determine to recover it and find the other two fates. Bernadette Quigley's narration sparkles as she brings to life a large cast of characters in a convoluted plot that spans generations and features several Irish rogues, a shy hypochondriac, and a forthright stripper.
