Narrator John Keating's British accent transports listeners into the thick of the action in this story--but what IS the action? It seems this knight is having trouble remembering the details. Where was he going? "To movie night" or "to a daring fight"? And why? Because his friend Clop, his physical characteristics unremembered, needed rescue. From what? Unknown. As Keating narrates the knight's quest, he elongates and draws out words for emphasis. His voice rises with each perplexing question, pauses, and then speeds into an answer that accentuates the rhyme: "He wasn't pulling any punches, out came all the dragon's lunches." The quirky ending is most satisfying. A.R. © AudioFile 2016, Portland, Maine [Published: OCTOBER 2016]
