BLACKOUT A Thriller

This audiobook is perfect for multitasking. It's a light, undemanding, mostly predictable, sometimes unbelievable, and quite entertaining cop thriller competently narrated by Jeff Steitzer. Doug Brock has the misfortune to have amnesia at the same time that bad guys are trying to kill him. There's also a love interest he can't remember dumping--with whom he falls in love again. Steitzer hits all the right tones, capturing both the drama and the humor of the book. His voice for Nate, Doug's sidekick, takes some getting used to simply because it's so very deep. Steitzer doesn't take this book too seriously, and neither should the listener. It's strictly entertainment, and that's how Steitzer plays it.
