VENGEANCE IN DEATH

Police Lieutenant Eve Dallas faces a clever and elusive serial killer, who is apparently targeting (with torture and murder) people from her husband's past. Set about fifty years in the future, this fast-paced and suspenseful thriller is a police procedural with the added interest of glimpses into a future just around the corner. Susan Ericksen excels with all the characters, capturing Eve's toughness as well as the softer side in her marriage and providing natural and convincing Irish accents for her husband and his acquaintances.
