THE CLASSIC POOH TREASURY, VOLUME 3

The beloved, well-known characters inhabiting the "100 Aker" Wood are skillfully brought to life by talented reader Peter Dennis. His warm British tenor successfully portrays the stuffed, slow-speaking Pooh Bear; busy, easily rattled Rabbit; excitable Roo; melancholic Eeyore; bouncing and optimistic Tigger; and snorting, nervous Piglet. Changes in vocal pace and timbre, as well as varying animal "accents," make this an excellent performance. Dennis is delightful to hear; even Piglet's snorting at the end of each sentence will make kids giggle while only slightly annoying adult listeners. The accompanying hardcover books of three of the stories are well done and fun to read.
