A medical intuitive before the term was coined, Edgar Cayce began talking with spirits, diagnosing medical problems, and predicting the future in the early 1900s. This well-documented biography recounts how much trouble these gifts created for Casey and his followers, and how steadfastly he carried out his "work" in spite of criticism, legal and financial setbacks, and his own lapses in judgment. Though authorized by Casey's family, this smoothly organized biography pulls no punches. It doesn't seem sanitized.
