It takes a good reader to effectively present the story that follows, a tangle of relationships among Elizabeth, Mrs. Emerson and her grown children. Mary Peiffer is up to the task. She reads in a smooth voice with clarity and understanding. She also delineates characters well, successfully communicating mannerisms and the feelings of each character.
